A key highlight is the Ceremony of Gratitude to the National Ancestor, taking place at 8:00 AM on April 3rd (6th day of the 3rd lunar month). With its traditional and solemn rituals, it will be an opportunity for the community to express their reverence and remembrance of the great contributions of the National Ancestor Lac Long Quan, while also educating future generations about the tradition of nation-building and national defense, and the principle of "drinking water and remembering the source."

Mr. Tiet Minh Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Ngoc Hien District People's Committee, said that preparations for the National Ancestor Gratitude Ceremony are being carried out urgently and meticulously. Decorations, ceremonial arrangements, environmental sanitation, and landscape beautification are being completed to create a clean, beautiful, and impressive festival space. In particular, ensuring traffic safety and traffic flow management on the day of the ceremony, along with maintaining security and order before, during, and after the ceremony, are being prioritized. In addition, medical personnel are on duty throughout the event to ensure healthcare for delegates, residents, and tourists. Inspections of food safety and hygiene, price listing, and adherence to regulations are also being strengthened to create a safe and civilized festival environment.

The annual Ceremony of Gratitude to National Ancestor Lac Long Quan is not only a cultural event but also an opportunity to promote the potential and strengths of Ngoc Hien district in particular and Ca Mau province in general. It's a chance to showcase the unique traditional cultural activities of the local people, attracting tourists to explore and experience them.

Vice Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan emphasized that 2025 is a year of great political and social significance, evoking profound emotions about the pivotal changes in the homeland and the country. Accordingly, events within the framework of "Ca Mau - Destination 2025" need to be invested in to increase scale, improve quality, and create impressive highlights. The requirement is that activities must be organized solemnly, have practical meaning, ensure safety, and create a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere among the people.

In addition, the province is stepping up propaganda efforts to awaken the tradition of patriotism and national pride. Through the activities of the festival, Ca Mau province also creates favorable conditions for businesses to meet, connect, and expand cooperation in the fields of trade and tourism, attracting investment and contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the locality.
