After that, the two people rode a cyclo to carry two tourists through many other destinations before taking them to the Citadel and collecting 2 VND / 700.000 cars.
Not satisfied with the service of the cyclo drivers. Thinking that they had been tricked into increasing the price compared to the original agreement, the two tourists reported to a group (group) on a social network dedicated to sharing their feelings about the destination, reflecting the bad events of tourists when traveling to Vietnam.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Department of Tourism coordinated with the City Police. Hue quickly verified the incident and invited the cyclo to work. Knowing that two tourists are still staying in Hue, the tourism industry has invited to complete the procedures to return the difference amount that the cyclo rider took from the guest. At the same time, on behalf of the tourism industry, we apologize for these inconveniences. The cyclo rider was also present and apologized to the two tourists for what had happened.

My husband and I have traveled to many places, and have been to Vietnam for 3 times, but this is a rare time when a situation of being cheated on using the service has happened. This makes the trip lose its desired interest.
When reporting the incident to the group, our main purpose is not to receive the money that was cheated, because the amount is not really large, but it is important to help the local tourism (Thua Thien Hue) realize the phenomenon, the event is not good. If this situation repeats, it will have a very negative impact, affecting the ability to attract tourists, especially international visitors. Thereby, we hope that the same situation should not happen to other tourists.

Unexpectedly, when the incident happened about a day, while still staying at the hotel, the couple received a notice from the reception that the tourism management agency in Thua Thien Hue had received information about the incident encountered by my husband and I. Authorities also found the cyclo rider.
Even more surprising when we were personally invited by the local security and tourism management leaders to the headquarters to work. The matter was handled too quickly, very seriously and closely. On behalf of the tourism industry and cyclo riders, the Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism also apologized for this incident and pledged to strengthen management to prevent similar situations from happening.
