According to the leaders of Luong Son commune, comprehensive planning and a long-term vision are prerequisites. Modern infrastructure needs to be linked to the practical needs of the people, especially the preservation of cultural identity and the safeguarding of spiritual heritage, which are pillars of sustainable development.
Comrade Doan Tien Lap, Secretary of the Party Committee of Luong Son commune, said: “Luong Son strives to become a model city in the next term, but the higher goal is to build a livable urban area where industry and services develop alongside the preservation of culture and the environment.” Luong Son's appearance is now taking on the form of a green, smart industrial and service city, connected to Hanoi, becoming a development hub of Phu Tho province.
Looking back over the past five years, with the spirit of "Unity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity," the Party Committee, government, and people of all ethnic groups in Luong Son commune have strived to overcome difficulties and challenges to achieve comprehensive achievements in all fields of economy, society, national defense and security, preparing a solid foundation for entering a new stage of development.

The growth rate of all economic sectors is high. Industry and construction have truly become the engine of growth, with the value of production in 2025 expected to reach VND 23,633 billion, a 2.3-fold increase compared to the beginning of the term. Luong Son Industrial Park is an attractive investment destination with dozens of FDI and domestic projects, creating jobs for approximately 15,000 workers; Nhuan Trach Industrial Park has commenced construction and is becoming a potential industrial park attracting investment from businesses.
Transportation infrastructure has received significant investment, with a total public investment of up to 4,800 billion VND. Along with this, the joint efforts of investors have led to the implementation of numerous key transportation and urban infrastructure projects. Major arterial roads such as the Luong Son-Xuan Mai road and the road connecting the Nhuan Trach Industrial Park with the Ho Chi Minh Highway are being actively addressed by the authorities to remove bottlenecks, creating a comprehensive and integrated transportation network.
A series of modern urban areas, such as Dong Lam Son, Truong Son, Cuu Long, etc., are gradually taking shape, creating a high-quality, civilized, and modern living space. Agriculture is developing towards high-value, commercial production, with the value of production per hectare of agricultural land reaching 184 million VND/year. Local OCOP (One Commune One Product) products are increasingly establishing their brand.
In 2023, for the first time, Luong Son pomelos were exported to the US market. The New Rural Development Program achieved impressive results, with two (formerly) communes meeting the advanced new rural development standards and one commune meeting the model new rural development standards. These achievements are the result of a tradition of unity, of "the Party's will and the people's aspirations," of a strong desire for progress, and serve as a solid foundation and driving force for cadres, Party members, and the people of Luong Son commune to confidently enter the new term with revolutionary goals and a higher sense of responsibility.

To realize this goal, in the coming term, Luong Son commune is determined to accelerate administrative reform, digital transformation in management and operation, build an e-government, and move towards a digital government to better serve the people and businesses.
