Investigation into the case of a husband stabbing his wife and daughter.

The incident occurred in Quang Long commune (Hai Ha district). The suspect stabbed his wife and daughter, then attempted suicide with the knife but failed.

Authorities are investigating the case of a husband stabbing his wife.

According to initial information, at approximately 1:30 PM on October 15th, the Hai Ha District Police received a report of a fight at the home of Mr. Nguyen Dinh Cuong in Hamlet 4, Quang Long Commune. When the authorities arrived at the scene, Mr. Cuong and his wife, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy, were in critical condition with multiple serious stab wounds.

Additionally, the couple's daughter sustained a hand injury. All three were taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.

According to verification by the authorities, due to family conflict, Mr. Cuong stabbed his wife and daughter with a knife, then attempted suicide but failed.

On the afternoon of October 15th, the Quang Ninh Provincial Police dispatched a task force to the scene to collect evidence and take statements from witnesses to investigate the incident.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Dung, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Long commune, said that Mr. Cuong and his wife sold dog meat at Quang Long market. Before the incident occurred, people heard the couple arguing loudly.
