On the afternoon of September 19, at the Valley of Love tourist area, Lam Dong - Da Lat Tourism Association organized a contest to promote the preparation of 100 delicious dishes from Da Lat artichokes to spread the cuisine made from artichokes throughout the country and the world . The contest had 20 teams (each team had 3 chefs), from restaurants and hotels in Lam Dong province and some provinces and cities in the country.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, Mr. Nguyen Huu Huong, Chairman of Lam Dong Province Chefs Association and Head of the Jury, said that this event is part of a series of tourism activities celebrating the 130th anniversary of Da Lat's formation and development, contributing to turning many Da Lat agricultural products, including artichoke, a precious medicinal herb, into delicious, beautiful and attractive dishes.
According to Mr. Huong, this is an opportunity to connect, share, and develop the skills of chefs across the country. The event of preparing and promoting 100 dishes from Da Lat artichokes at the same time will be announced to set a Vietnamese culinary record.
