In the general development of the country, the ethnic groups in Ea Wy commune have continuously preserved and promoted traditional cultural values, thereby expressing gratitude and reverence for their national origins.

The cultural program, performed by Tay ethnic women in Ea Wy commune, celebrated the festival.

The Thanh Minh Festival is closely associated with the worship of deities at the Thanh Minh Shrine of the Nung people. It signifies remembrance of the gratitude owed to ancestors for their upbringing and nurturing, and a prayer for bountiful harvests, peaceful villages, and a prosperous and happy life. Particularly, the festival is linked to a profound love story of a young Nung couple from ancient times. Despite their deep love and vows of eternal devotion, outdated customs prevented them from being together. Therefore, the Thanh Minh Festival also carries the meaning of wishing for faithful and enduring love between couples.
