The scene at the conference.

The dialogue conference is one of the activities under Project 8 “Implementing gender equality and addressing urgent issues for women and children” of the National Target Program for socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas giai đoạn 2021 - 2030.

At the conference, many members and women in Tan Phu district offered suggestions and recommendations regarding the need to continue extending the period of support for health insurance cards for ethnic minorities in communes in Zone I; providing health insurance cards for women's association branch leaders; disseminating legal education to people in ethnic minority areas; building traditional houses for the Tay ethnic group and special recreational areas in areas with large ethnic minority populations; and establishing a Then singing and Tinh playing club to preserve the cultural identity of the Tay ethnic group.

Women members from ethnic minority groups participated and offered their opinions at the conference.

In addition, suggestions and recommendations were made regarding the construction of irrigation works and investment in the electricity network in Daklua commune; the concreting of roads in the hamlets; and the training, development, planning, and utilization of female cadres from ethnic minority groups, contributing to increasing the proportion of female cadres in the political system.

At the conference, leaders of the Provincial Ethnic Affairs Committee and the Dong Nai Provincial Women's Union basically addressed the concerns of the women members. They also provided additional information on support policies that the women members were interested in.
