The Vietnamese national team has assembled.

The Vietnamese national team, comprising 28 players, has been training since yesterday, June 22nd, to prepare for the ASEAN Cup 2026, a tournament in which the 'Golden Star Warriors' are the defending champions.

The players called up are all ready in terms of both form and fitness.

All 28 players called up are ready in terms of both form and fitness after a break of more than 10 days since the end of the V-League 2025/26 season. The Vietnamese national team will have 10 days of training in Hanoi before heading to South Korea for a training camp from July 2nd to 14th.

During the training camp in South Korea, the VFF and coach Kim Sang-sik contacted and found three suitable opponents for the players to play friendly matches against.

Before participating in the ASEAN Cup 2026 , the Vietnamese national team will also have one more international friendly match against the Myanmar national team on July 18th at Thai Nguyen Stadium.
