While families gathered to celebrate Tet (Lunar New Year), the medical staff of Military Hospital 120 continued to work tirelessly, caring for the health of the people and spreading the deep bond of solidarity between the military and the people through meaningful activities during the Tet holiday of the Year of the Horse 2026.

During the Lunar New Year of 2026 (Year of the Horse), Military Hospital 120 recorded a week of on-call duty that was both stressful and meaningful.

Leaders of Military Hospital 120 met with and presented gifts to 11 families of officers who participated in the United Nations peacekeeping force and were deployed to Truong Sa and Tho Chu islands, with each gift valued at 3 million VND.

From February 14th to 20th, the Emergency Department received 910 patient visits and admitted 458 cases.

On the afternoon of the 29th day of the Lunar New Year, leaders of Military Hospital 120 visited and presented gifts to 100 patients currently receiving treatment in the Nephrology and Dialysis Department, the Anesthesia and Resuscitation Department, and the General Internal Medicine Department.

Prior to Tet (Lunar New Year), the hospital meticulously prepared its on-call schedules, anticipating receiving approximately 130-160 emergency patients daily. "Tet is a time for family reunions, but we have decided to put those reunions on hold to ensure our on-call duties are maintained, especially in emergency areas," Colonel Nguyen Trung Kien shared.

Military Hospital 120 organized a New Year's Eve celebration for the Year of the Horse 2026 and a spring party, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere to foster team spirit among all staff on duty during the Tet holiday.

Alongside its professional duties, the hospital also organized many charitable and philanthropic activities: Visiting and presenting 300 gifts to families of policy beneficiaries, war veterans, and poor households in Phong Hiep commune, Ca Mau province; giving gifts to 100 inpatients celebrating Tet at the hospital; meeting with 11 families of officers participating in the United Nations peacekeeping force, reinforcing Truong Sa and Tho Chu islands, along with 40 gifts for officers with infertility and serious illnesses.
