Dong Nai Province has 18 more Outstanding Doctors.

(Dong Nai) - The President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Luong Cuong, signed Decision No. 1130/QD-CTN dated June 24, 2025, awarding the title of "Outstanding Doctor" to 62 individuals. Of these, 18 individuals are from Dong Nai province.

Specifically, Dong Nai General Hospital has 6 individuals including: Specialist Doctors II Dao Nguyen Minh Chau, Le Duc Nhan, Le Van Thong Nhat, Nguyen Dinh Quang, Duong Tan Tho and Master of Nursing Cao Thi Hai Yen.

Thong Nhat General Hospital has three individuals: Dr. Dang Ngoc Quy Hue, Specialist Doctor II Nguyen Tuong Quang, and Specialist Doctor II Nguyen Son.

Dong Nai Children's Hospital has two individuals with this specialization: Dr. Pham Thi Thu Thuy (Specialist II) and Dr. Tran Thi Bich Phuong (Specialist I).

The remaining seven individuals include: Dr. Nguyen Hong Quang, Principal of Dong Nai Medical College; Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Cuc, former Head of Department at Trang Bom Regional Medical Center; Dr. Pham Thanh Hai, Deputy Director of Long Thanh Regional Medical Center; Dr. Bui Quang Tan, former Deputy Director of Vinh Cuu Regional Medical Center; and Dr. Nguyen Phuoc Tuong, former Head of Department at Vinh Cuu Regional Medical Center.

Pharmacist Nguyen Duc Thu, Deputy Director of the Traditional Medicine Hospital of Dong Nai province, and Doctor Le Vinh Thinh, Head of the Health Department of Long Thanh district, were also awarded this prestigious title.

"Outstanding Physician" is a prestigious title bestowed by the State upon those working in the healthcare sector. These include doctors, pharmacists, medical assistants, and practitioners of traditional medicine who are involved in medical examination and treatment, pharmaceutical production, medical research, disease prevention and control, and healthcare management officials with outstanding achievements and significant contributions to the development of the healthcare sector and the protection, care, and improvement of public health.
