Dong Nai aspires to "transform into a dragon".

Is it too early for Dong Nai to mention the ambitious goal of "transforming into a dragon"? No! Because it's not just a dream or a mere prediction, but a fervent aspiration established by clear political will, linked to sound strategic planning. This is the path that the Party Committee, government, and people of Dong Nai, always upholding their tradition of resilience, dynamism, creativity, and determination to overcome difficulties and "lead the way," have seriously chosen to pursue and proactively prepare "from early on and from afar" to seize their future destiny.

The remaining crucial issue in realizing Dong Nai's transformation into a "dragon" is maintaining the "red thread" of unity, fostering a strong reformist mindset coupled with timely issuance of leverage policies, and demonstrating a spirit of breakthrough action for a prosperous Dong Nai that steadily progresses forward.

On the challenging journey to gradually achieve exceptionally high economic growth rates, the entire political system, the people, and the business community are united in striving to reach the goal of double-digit growth, starting from 2025. Reaching the target in the first half of this year, many economic indicators have shown positive changes, exceeding the initial scenario. However, the expectations of the Provincial Party Committee are much higher, requiring the political system, the people, and the business community to make even greater efforts, adhering closely to the scenario of a 10.97% growth rate in the third quarter and a "leap" to 12.2% in the fourth quarter, in order to successfully achieve a 10% growth rate for the whole year.

The process of intensely focusing on the synchronized implementation of plans and action programs centered around growth targets still faces many limitations, shortcomings, "bottlenecks," and internal challenges that need to be addressed and overcome. The recent Provincial Party Committee meeting frankly identified these issues, engaged in responsible debate, and emphasized the principle of "only discussing action, not retreat." The urgent and crucial tasks now are to quickly finalize and strictly manage the Provincial Planning; improve the quality of human resources; achieve breakthroughs in science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation; and combat passivity and stagnation among some officials.

The head of the provincial Party Committee stated that Dong Nai possesses two outstanding resources: land and human intellect, including the hands and minds of key officials leading the locality's development. The mission of the Party and government in the 2025-2030 term is to build a "prosperous people and a strong nation." Affirming that it has the necessary conditions and capabilities to achieve this, and to gradually transform Dong Nai into a "Dragon" on the map of Vietnam, the Provincial Party Committee will assess the performance of officials under its authority every six months. The aim is to ignite a desire for innovation, encourage bold thinking and action, and remove from the system those lacking competence and public service ethics.

The turning point of a "new era" is imminent. Marching forward with the entire nation in the current of rising national history, Dong Nai province is increasingly aware of the need to maintain its position as one of the leading economic hubs of the country. Cadres, Party members, and citizens are urgently accelerating their efforts each day, working together to shape the image of Vietnam as an increasingly distinct "Asian Dragon"...

Dong Nai is transforming into a "dragon," and all the people in this land are ready for a "rapid" development!
