Dong Nai aspires to "become a Dragon"

Is it too early for Dong Nai to mention the ambitious goal of “becoming a Dragon”? No! Because it is not just a dream or a mere prediction, but also a strong aspiration established by clear political will, associated with correct strategic planning steps. That is the path that the Party Committee, government and people of Dong Nai have always promoted the tradition of resilience, dynamism, creativity, determination to overcome difficulties, “going first, coming first”, have seriously chosen to pursue and proactively prepared “early, from afar” to seize the future destiny.

The remaining issue that is decisive in realizing Dong Nai's transformation into a "Dragon" is to maintain the "red thread" of solidarity, to have a strong reform mindset combined with timely issuance of key policies, and to have a spirit of breakthrough action for a prosperous Dong Nai, moving forward steadily.

On the journey facing many challenges to gradually conquer the exceptionally high economic growth rate, the entire political system, people, and business community are striving to achieve the goal of covering double-digit growth, starting from 2025. Reaching the target in the first half of this year, many economic indicators have changed positively, exceeding the initial scenario. However, the expectation of the Provincial Party Committee is greater than that, requiring the political system, people, and business community to make many times more efforts, closely following the scenario of setting the growth rate for the third quarter at 10.97%, and the fourth quarter "leaping" to 12.2%, in order to successfully conquer the growth of 10% for the whole year.

The process of highly concentrating on synchronously implementing plans and action programs revolving around growth targets still has many limitations, inadequacies, "bottlenecks", internal challenges... that need to be removed and overcome. The recent Provincial Party Executive Committee Conference frankly identified, responsibly debated and thoroughly implemented the viewpoint of "only discussing action, not retreating". The urgent and key task now is to quickly complete and strictly manage the Provincial Planning; improve the quality of human resources; make breakthroughs in science and technology, innovation, digital transformation; and push back the passive and stagnant state of a part of the staff.

The head of the provincial Party Committee assessed that Dong Nai has two outstanding resources: land and human intelligence, including the hands and minds of the cadres holding key positions leading the locality forward. The mission of the Party organization and government for the 2025-2030 term is to build "rich people, strong country". Affirming that there are enough conditions and strength to do this, gradually turning Dong Nai into a "Dragon" on the S-shaped map, the Provincial Party Committee will evaluate the level of task completion for cadres under its authority every 6 months, with the aim of arousing the desire, enthusiasm for innovation, daring to think, daring to do, and removing from the apparatus those lacking capacity and public service ethics.

The turning point of the “new era” is near. Moving forward with the marching formation of the entire nation in the historical flow of the rising country, Dong Nai province is increasingly aware of the need to maintain its position as a national economic locomotive. Officials, party members, and people are urgently accelerating every day, joining hands to sketch out the highlight of the “Asian Dragon” figure named Vietnam more and more clearly...

Dong Nai is rising to "become a Dragon", the mindset of all owners of this land is ready to "speed up"!
