Along the streets, from Hung Vuong, Ly Thuong Kiet, and Nguyen Trai in My Tho and Dao Thanh wards, streams of vehicles bustled towards entertainment venues, churches, and other attractions.
At churches and parishes, parishioners and local people gathered very early to attend the Christmas Mass. The church grounds were elaborately decorated with nativity scenes, miniature landscapes, and sparkling lights, attracting many visitors to admire the decorations and take souvenir photos.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong (My Tho ward) shared: “Every year at Christmas, my family and I go out to the streets, visit the church to see the decorations, and take a stroll to experience the atmosphere. This year, the church is decorated more beautifully, the roads are clear, and the authorities are working very diligently, so everyone feels safe going out to celebrate.”
Le Thi Thao Tien (Trung An ward) said: “The lively and joyful atmosphere of Christmas helped me forget the cold weather. I took many photos to capture this special Christmas moment. Participating in today's celebration made me very happy, and I wish everyone peace, good luck, and success in the new year.”
To ensure the safety of people attending Christmas Eve celebrations, the Dong Thap Provincial Police, in coordination with other relevant agencies, mobilized hundreds of officers and soldiers to be stationed at various points, intersections, and crossroads to ensure traffic order and safety.
