Lieutenant Colonel NHAM VAN TAM, Commander of the 659th Transport Brigade, Logistics and Technical Department, Military Region 9:
Determined to achieve the best results.
In the challenging year of 2025, the unit successfully completed its mission of transporting people and goods, ensuring absolute safety in all aspects; maintaining a high level of combat readiness and organizing training for personnel with good results. Alongside these achievements, we remain concerned about the slow progress in digital transformation and administrative reform within the unit, the increasing deterioration of the barracks, and frequent severe flooding during the rainy season...
Nevertheless, our overarching goal for 2026 remains building a "highly skilled, standardized, and modern" unit, focusing on enhancing capabilities and readiness to respond to emergencies. A solid foundation for this goal is the synchronized investment in new equipment, vessels, and transport vehicles. To realize this objective, the Brigade is focusing on breakthroughs in training to master technical equipment and vehicles, and tightening the work of establishing standardized procedures and managing discipline. In particular, every officer and soldier needs to constantly learn and improve themselves, viewing each daily task as a combat mission; being dedicated, meticulous, and maintaining a steady hand in the face of all challenges and situations.

The year 2026 brings a new lease of life from the 14th National Congress of the Party. This is a tremendous source of spiritual strength that helps the unit confidently and resolutely complete the assigned tasks. Building on the achievements of the past year, we will maintain unity, focus on overcoming difficulties and shortcomings to successfully achieve the set goals and tasks with the highest quality. In the immediate future, the unit will organize peak duty periods effectively; celebrate the Lunar New Year 2026 (Year of the Horse) in a joyful, safe, and economical manner; and do a good job of preparing for the arrival of new recruits and the commencement of training.
Lieutenant Colonel BUI VAN HAI, Commander of the 930th Air Regiment, 372nd Air Division, Air Defense-Air Force Command:
Collective solidarity, exemplary individuals.
In 2025, the 930th Air Regiment successfully completed many tasks, including combat readiness, flight training, flight safety assurance, emergency response drills for civil aviation, participation in the A50 and A80 parades; search and rescue flights, and dropping relief supplies to flood victims... The key to achieving these results was the determination, sense of responsibility, and discipline of each individual; the unity, cohesion, and close coordination within the collective; and the timely guidance, leadership, and direction of the Party committees and commanders at all levels...
As a commander, I have always clearly defined my responsibilities, proactively cultivated my political acumen, maintained my stance and viewpoints, and upheld my responsibility in my work; strictly adhering to the discipline, regulations, and rules of the unit and superiors. In 2026, based on an accurate assessment of the practical situation and the requirements of the assigned tasks, the 930th Air Regiment has set the main objective of successfully completing all assigned tasks, including the upcoming peak duty periods; maintaining discipline and order; improving the quality of flight training and ensuring flight safety; and building a united, cohesive, regular, and strong unit.
As a commander, I am determined to focus on developing specific and scientific work plans; clearly assigning tasks according to the capabilities of each officer and soldier; strengthening inspection and supervision, promptly correcting shortcomings; promoting democracy and listening to feedback; setting a good example, and ensuring that words are matched by actions.
Major NGO VAN TRUONG, Captain of Ship 511, Squadron 4, Brigade 169, Region 1 of the Navy:
No matter how difficult the task, we must unite and successfully complete it.
Although we have successfully completed the tasks, objectives, and contents set out for 2025, we recognize that there are still many issues that require further learning and effort, especially in the application of information technology to training; we need more initiatives and models for practical application... Therefore, along with the defined goals and tasks, we will strengthen the application of information technology in training, develop models and initiatives with high applicability; and coordinate well with other units, especially in carrying out missions at sea.
We also clearly see the pressure regarding time constraints, workload, and the nature of the work. However, no matter how difficult the challenges, the Party committee and the ship's command are determined to lead and command the unit in unity and cohesion, striving even harder under greater pressure to successfully complete the objectives and tasks assigned by superiors. As the captain, I always uphold a high sense of responsibility and the exemplary role of a commander to gather and leverage the collective strength.
Captain Cao Xuan Hoan, Company Commander of Company 2, Battalion 4, Regiment 335, Division 324, Military Region 4:
Determined right from the beginning of the year.
One of the key factors contributing to our unit's positive results over the past year has been the exemplary conduct of our officers and the high level of self-awareness and determination of our soldiers. This forms the foundation for our commitment to building a strong, comprehensive, "exemplary and outstanding" company in 2026. Therefore, at the end of the training year, we organized briefing sessions, clearly assigning responsibilities and tasks to each individual; and focused on thoroughly preparing for all aspects of the training.
Maintain strict discipline and order, avoid any signs of complacency or negligence; actively increase production; organize recreational activities well during breaks and holidays, especially during the upcoming New Year's holiday. As a result, officers and soldiers remain mentally at ease, determined to strive from the very beginning of the year, strictly adhering to regulations and discipline, and ready to receive and successfully complete assigned tasks.
Captain Nguyen Xuan Hieu, 2nd Platoon, 1st Company, 38th Chemical Defense Battalion, 3rd Military Region Headquarters:
Clear objectives and measures
Chemical warfare troops perform their duties in extremely harsh environments with high safety risks, requiring the use of various types of equipment and highly meticulous and complex professional operations demanding high precision. Therefore, along with individual efforts, coordination and assistance from commanders and comrades are essential. In 2025, my unit will continue to unite and successfully accomplish the assigned tasks, giving us more confidence as we enter 2026.
To contribute to the successful completion of the unit's mission, I aim to perform my assigned tasks well, first and foremost by improving my physical fitness, enhancing my skills, expertise, and sense of organizational discipline; and at the same time, successfully researching at least one practical innovation. I will actively study many specialized chemistry documents, basing my daily tasks on the difficulties encountered in order to develop the most practical innovation. I hope that my commanders and colleagues will continue to guide and provide frank feedback, especially on my limitations and shortcomings, so that I can further improve myself.
Corporal NGUYEN DUC TAI, Squad 2, Platoon 1, Company 1, Battalion 4, Regiment 148, Division 316, Military Region 2:
Let's compete enthusiastically, striving towards higher goals.
Looking back on my first year in the military, I clearly see my growth in many aspects. I live a more organized and responsible life, both for myself and the team; I am quick-witted, punctual, and self-motivated in my studies, training, and assigned tasks. Entering 2026, I will continue to uphold my sense of responsibility, actively study and train; proactively overcome my shortcomings; and strictly abide by the discipline and orders of my superiors...
Through this, we contribute to achieving the unit's overall goal of improving training quality, building a strong and comprehensive unit that is "exemplary and outstanding"; strictly adhering to State laws and military discipline, and being ready to accept and successfully complete all assigned tasks. I also hope that all officers and soldiers in the unit will promote a spirit of solidarity, responsibility, and enthusiastic competition, creating a serious yet friendly learning and training environment so that everyone can work with peace of mind and overcome all difficulties together.

Always closely connected with the people.
In addition to successfully carrying out training and combat readiness tasks, the 416th Armored Brigade (Military Region 9) also maintains close ties with the Party committees, authorities, and people in the areas where it is stationed. The concrete and practical actions of the unit's officers and soldiers not only contribute to improving the material and spiritual lives of the Khmer people but also help preserve and promote their traditional cultural identity, strengthen national unity, and enhance the image of the Vietnamese People's Army.
