The Saigon Railway Transport Branch announced that the railway will continue to operate classic train services on the Da Lat - Trai Mat route to serve tourists visiting Da Lat, the city of a thousand flowers, during the spring season.

Specifically, the DL3/DL4 train pair runs daily, with train DL3 departing from Da Lat station at 9:55 AM and train DL4 departing from Trai Mat at 10:55 AM.

Additionally, depending on passenger demand, the railway will operate four daytime train pairs (DL1/DL2, DL5/DL6, DL7/DL8, DL9/DL10); and one nighttime train pair (DL13/DL14).

Dalat Railway Station is known as the most beautiful railway station in Indochina, and tourists can freely take photos for social media.

The DL11/DL12 train pair runs on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings every week; train DL11 departs from Da Lat station at 6:15 PM, and train DL12 departs from Trai Mat at 7:15 PM.

Ticket prices range from 60,000 to 150,000 VND per person per trip. Group bookings will receive discounts depending on whether it's a one-way or round-trip ticket and the number of people in the group.

Daytime train passengers shouldn't miss the Da Lat train station, which has been recognized as a tourist destination by the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee since October 1, 2024. Built during the French colonial era, Da Lat station is considered the most beautiful train station in Indochina. Designed by two French architects, Moncet and Reveron, the station resembles the majestic Langbiang mountain.

With an entrance fee of 50,000 VND, visitors can explore, enjoy, and use some services free of charge within the Da Lat railway station architectural complex. Tickets for the Da Lat - Trai Mat railway line (8 km) are charged separately; however, passengers who purchase train tickets do not need to buy an entrance fee.

On the Da Lat - Trai Mat route, as the train passes through farms, passengers can admire the vibrant flower gardens and lush green vegetable gardens while sipping artichoke tea to the soothing music performed by live musicians.

The La Reine (Queen) train carriage has an Indochinese style.

If you take the overnight train, you can relax and admire the incredibly magical and unique beauty of Da Lat at night, with the dazzling lights of the flower farms along the train route like falling stars. The train carriages are designed in a nostalgic style, taking passengers back to Indochina in the 1930s-1950s.

In December 2024, the railway company put into operation the La Reine (Queen) train. Inspired by the architecture of the Nam Phuong Queen's Palace, the La Reine train is designed with luxury and sophistication. It combines Indochinese and French styles, embodying both the classic beauty of East Asia and the romantic, poetic charm of Da Lat. The antique-style decorative lighting creates a harmonious and elegant overall atmosphere. Tourists who choose to ride this train will have an incredibly enjoyable experience.
