Bringing Cham heritage to the digital environment.
According to a report by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province, the development of the digital platform stems from the urgent need of the current digital transformation process. During the preparation for the 6th Cham Ethnic Culture Festival in 2026, the Department collaborated with the National Digital Media Data Archiving Center and the Center for Supporting Digital Transformation of Journalism (under the Press Department, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) to integrate technological solutions and complete the digital platform on Cham cultural heritage in Khanh Hoa.
This is a significant project aimed at digitizing the documentation, artifacts, relics, festivals, and intangible cultural values of the Cham community, while also creating a data repository to serve research, management, preservation, and promotion of heritage in the new era.
The application of digital platforms will expand public access to the Cham cultural heritage, both domestically and internationally, contributing to the formation of a digital cultural ecosystem and promoting smart tourism development in the locality.

Online experience space for tourists
The Cham cultural heritage digital platform is designed with many features to serve users, such as searching for information about Cham relics, learning about history, architecture, festivals, traditional crafts, music, performing arts, and the unique cultural values of the Cham community.
Locals and tourists can easily access the platform via smartphone by scanning the QR code or visiting http://vanhoacham.khanhhoa.gov.vn to experience Cham culture in the digital environment.
According to experts, the creation of an online experiential space not only helps promote the image of Cham culture to a wider audience but also provides opportunities for the younger generation to access the heritage in a more modern, engaging, and convenient way.

Contributing to the development of smart tourism.
Khanh Hoa is one of the localities with a typical Cham heritage system in the country, featuring famous architectural works such as the Ponagar Tower, along with many festivals, beliefs, and traditional crafts that are deeply rooted in Cham culture.
The digitization of heritage values is expected to create a crucial data source for developing cultural tourism, experiential tourism, and smart tourism products, providing tourists with additional tools to find information before, during, and after their visits.
Authorities believe that digital platforms will contribute to connecting heritage with tourism promotion activities, promoting the local image, and enhancing the effective exploitation of cultural values associated with sustainable socio-economic development. Through digital technology, Cham cultural heritage will not only be preserved more safely but also have the opportunity to reach millions of users online, contributing to raising community awareness of the value of the heritage and fostering national cultural pride.
The launch of the Cham cultural heritage digital platform in Khanh Hoa is considered a significant milestone in the modernization of heritage conservation efforts, demonstrating the local government's determination to combine the preservation of traditional identity with the application of science and technology, aiming to build a digital culture rich in cultural identity.
