During the preparation for the 6th Cham Ethnic Culture Festival in 2026, the Department collaborated with the National Digital Media Data Archiving Center and the Center for Supporting Digital Transformation of Journalism (under the Press Department, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) to integrate technological solutions and complete the digital platform on Cham cultural heritage in Khanh Hoa.

This is a significant project aimed at digitizing the documentation, artifacts, relics, festivals, and intangible cultural values of the Cham community, while also creating a data repository to serve research, management, preservation, and promotion of heritage in the new era.

The application of digital platforms will expand public access to the Cham cultural heritage, both domestically and internationally, contributing to the formation of a digital cultural ecosystem and promoting smart tourism development in the locality.
