Singer Duong Quoc Hung has just released a duo of musical products: the album "Sounds of the Homeland" and the EP (extended play, mini-album) "The City Rises Up". All are part of the art project "Love Songs for Building the Homeland," which the singer has been passionately working on for many years.

With "The Sound of the Homeland," singer Duong Quoc Hung takes listeners into a space of proud melodies with 9 revolutionary songs that have touched the hearts of millions of music lovers. Deep and resonant with "The Sound of the Zither," heroic yet profound with "The Country," resounding with the stirring "Song of Unification," or joyful and vibrant with "The Bridge Connecting Shores of Joy"; and other timeless songs such as "Young Grass of the Ancient Citadel," "My Mother," "The Stars of the Night," and "Spring of Love." Finally, the album concludes with "Melody of the Homeland" by composer Tran Tien, with Duong Quoc Hung's voice overwhelming the audience with pride in a unified country, a peaceful homeland, and a radiant Vietnam: "And I love, and I sing. Words of love, words of burning passion. These days, oh country. Our homeland…"

Singer Duong Quoc Hung, already popular in the light music genre, created a strong impression and surprise for listeners with "The Sound of the Fatherland." With his high, warm voice, he delivered emotionally resonant songs with unique touches. From the lyrical and romantic "Bridge Connecting Joyful Shores" to the soaring and ethereal "Song of Unity," he sang them all flawlessly. The male singer shared that choosing to reinterpret songs already marked by many senior singers put considerable pressure on him, especially in creating a distinct style for each song. Listeners will find Duong Quoc Hung's insightful solution in this album to the challenge of maintaining the spirit of the songs while also making them fresh and youthful.

With his mini-album "The City Rises," fans once again encounter Duong Quoc Hung in a different role: songwriter and singer. The EP includes four songs: "The City Shines in His Name" (Do Anh Hung), "I Am a City Dweller" (Nguyen Duc Trung), and two of his own compositions: "A New Day in the City" and "The City Rises with the Nation." Youthful and in the pop dance genre, the EP contributes to portraying the image of Ho Chi Minh City as youthful, dynamic, and aspiring to reach greater heights and achieve prosperity for Vietnam. This is also the message Duong Quoc Hung conveys through this artistic product.

“Listen to the zither, its melodious notes echoing through the night. The sound of our zither, the high notes are the mother's voice, the low notes are the father's voice, the lingering melody I still sing…”, quoting the lyrics of the song “The Sound of the Zither,” Duong Quoc Hung shared on his personal page: “Those first sounds… And so it continues… The sounds of the country, the sounds of the Vietnamese people are unforgettable melodies, full of pride, resonating in every corner of the heart, of the homeland…”.

Singer Duong Quoc Hung became known and loved by audiences after the Sao Mai Diem Hen 2006 singing competition. He has tried his hand at many musical genres and demonstrated his dedication to his art through each musical project. Before these two new products, Duong Quoc Hung had released the album "My Beloved City" - a collection of songs written about Ho Chi Minh City - and a collection of songs by female composer Quynh Hop in albums such as: "Listening to You Sing in Truong Sa", "Walking Across the Waves", "Da Lat in Late Winter"...
