The railway will add more trains to Saigon.

Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company announced that the railway will add more passenger trains between Saigon and Da Nang to meet the increasing demand for travel on this route.

Specifically, an additional pair of trains, SE28/SE27, will run between Saigon Station and Da Nang Station and vice versa. Train SE28 will run on June 28th and 30th, and every other day from July 2nd to July 30th, 2024. Train SE28 departs from Saigon Station at 22:50 and arrives at Da Nang Station at 20:55.

With increased passenger numbers, the railway company is adding more trains between Saigon and Da Nang (Illustrative image).

Conversely, train SE27 runs on June 29, 2024, and every other day from July 1 to July 31, 2024. Train SE27 departs from Da Nang station at 22:45 and arrives at Saigon station at 20:00.

Seating fares start from 571,000 VND/ticket/trip, while sleeper fares start from 708,000 VND/ticket/trip, depending on the train type, travel date, and seat location on the train.

Passengers purchasing tickets for the SE27/SE28 train pair are still eligible for regular promotions and discounts such as: Discounts for senior citizens and union members... Specifically, children under 6 years old travel free (two children traveling with an adult); children aged 6 to 10 years old receive a 25% discount on the ticket price.

The railway also offers discounts: When purchasing tickets for distances of 600km or more, a 5% discount is applied to tickets purchased between 20 and 39 days before the departure date, and a 10% discount is applied to tickets purchased 40 days or more in advance.

Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company also announced that, in collaboration with VinWonders, the railway company is offering a discount of up to 15% on VinWonders service tickets for customers using train services of Vietnam Railways Corporation with destination stations including: Khanh Hoa, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Nghe An, and Hanoi .
