Maintaining stability after Tet

Today, February 2nd, 2025, live pig prices remain stable across all three regions after the Lunar New Year holiday. Currently, live pig prices fluctuate between 66,000 and 69,000 VND/kg.

Northern region

Today's live pig prices (February 2, 2025) in the northern region continue to remain stable in provinces and cities after the Lunar New Year holiday of the Year of the Snake 2025.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this region is fluctuating between 67,000 and 68,000 VND/kg. Among them, the provinces of Bac Giang, Yen Bai, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Thai Nguyen, Thai Binh, Ha Nam, Vinh Phuc, Tuyen Quang, and Hanoi have the highest live pig prices in the region, at 68,000 VND/kg.

Central and Central Highlands region

Similarly, today's live pig prices (February 2, 2025) in the Central and Central Highlands regions also remained stable compared to the days before, during, and after the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday. Currently, live pig prices in this region range from 66,000 to 68,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, Lam Dong , Ninh Thuan, and Binh Thuan provinces had the highest pork prices in the region, reaching 68,000 VND/kg. Conversely, the lowest transaction price of 66,000 VND/kg was recorded in Binh Dinh and Khanh Hoa provinces.

Southern region

Along with the two aforementioned regions, pork prices in the Southern region today (February 2, 2025) remain stable as they have been in recent times. Currently, pork prices in this region are still fluctuating between 67,000 and 69,000 VND/kg.

This region maintains the highest pork prices nationwide, with Tay Ninh, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Long An, Dong Thap, and Ca Mau provinces all keeping prices at 69,000 VND/kg. Conversely, Tra Vinh and Hau Giang have the lowest pork prices in the region at 67,000 VND/kg.

Overall, today's live pig prices (February 2, 2025) continue to remain stable after the Lunar New Year holiday. Currently, live pig prices are trading in the range of 66,000 - 69,000 VND/kg. The Southern region maintains the highest price nationwide at 69,000 VND/kg.
