I came here because of love.
Le Luu Dung was born in Trieu Lang commune, Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province (now Trieu Co commune). After graduating from university, he participated in a project at Cologne Zoo aimed at preserving nature and the ecosystem in Phong Nha-Ke Bang.
Perhaps his love for nature and passion for exploration began here. Therefore, after completing the project, Dung decided to stay and work at an adventure tourism company in Phong Nha, hoping to develop himself and gain experience. But with each passing day, he grew to love this land even more and always yearned to contribute more to the conservation of the Phong Nha-Ke Bang World Natural Heritage site.
In 2012, Dung decided to quit his job to build his own path. In 2014, he opened a small homestay called Jungle Boss Homestay and later established Jungle Boss Co., Ltd. Le Luu Dung shared: “That time was really difficult for me. The economic pressure, the living environment of someone far from home, and I constantly wondered if I could succeed. It was my belief in the people of Phong Nha and my passion for exploring nature that motivated me to stay and persevere.”
Through his own efforts and those of his companions, Mr. Dung has overcome difficulties and achieved many successes in developing tourism in Quang Binh. His company has developed tourism products such as the Ha Ma Da Valley - Tra Ang Cave, Pygmy Cave - Tiger Cave, etc. In 2021, the Jungle Boss team discovered the Sut Kong sinkhole, creating a strong turning point for the company. Since then, the company has welcomed many tourists who love adventure tourism and exploring nature to experience its wonders.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai was born in Trieu Trach commune, Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province (now Trieu Binh commune). After graduating from university, he was hired to teach at a high school, but due to his passion for exploring new and different things, he decided to work for a foreign project in Quang Binh. In 2012, he noticed the increasing number of backpackers visiting Phong Nha, but the limited choices for accommodation and food, so he decided to switch to the service business. After overcoming many difficulties, he stayed and continued his love for tourism in Quang Binh. Through his own efforts, he is currently the Director of ECOFOOT Co., Ltd. and operates a restaurant serving tourists.
“The combination of Quang Tri’s rich history and culture with its magnificent natural beauty will create attractive and highly competitive destinations, attracting diverse segments of tourists. We can easily develop unique inter-regional tourism products, extend tourists’ stays, and create more accompanying services to increase revenue. However, there are also many challenges to face, requiring tourism businesses to constantly innovate and improve the quality of their products and services in order to survive and thrive in this new competitive environment,” commented Mr. Le Luu Dung. |
When two hometowns become one family.
Many tourism products are being effectively developed by Jungle Boss Co., Ltd.
Quang Tri Province has just been officially established. It is the culmination of two regions rich in cultural and revolutionary traditions, a place with great potential and prospects for socio-economic development. Sharing in this joy, the people of the newly established Quang Tri feel empowered to work together to build an increasingly beautiful and prosperous homeland.
Nguyen Thanh Hai proudly stated: “Quang Tri (formerly) where I was born, Quang Binh (formerly) where I grew up, both my hometowns owe me so much gratitude. Now that the two hometowns are united, I feel very proud and fortunate because from here I can dedicate my full and profound love to my homeland.”
Mr. Hai said that he has traveled and lived in many places, each with its own unique characteristics, but there are many similarities between Quang Binh and Quang Tri (formerly) in terms of culture, lifestyle, and natural conditions... Therefore, the merger of the two provinces will make it easier for people to get along and unite, opening up many new opportunities. Especially in the field of tourism, tourism products will be more diverse and attractive, creating connections and sustainable development.
Le Luu Dung's passion for exploring nature has led him to the tourism industry.
According to Mr. Le Luu Dung, in addition to the famous tourist products that his company has already developed in Quang Binh (formerly), he also develops some products in Hue and Lam Dong. In particular, hoping to bring a fresh perspective to tourism in his beloved hometown of Quang Tri, he has diligently surveyed and obtained permission to operate the "Phong Huong Du Ky 2 days 1 night" tour program.
In June 2025, Jungle Boss received further approval from the Provincial People's Committee to develop eco-tourism and adventure tourism in Ta Du, a new project he had been nurturing for a long time. With 10 years of experience in adventure tourism, Mr. Dung understands that the merger of the two provinces will open up a multifaceted picture with both promising opportunities and significant challenges.
Nguyen Anh Tuan, Chairman and CEO of Phuong Bac Urban Development Joint Stock Company, shared: “I have a bit of nostalgia for what was familiar, the unique values of Quang Binh or Quang Tri in the past. But with the expectation of a brighter future, I am very proud that my two hometowns are merged to create new development opportunities. We will find ways to maximize our strengths and those of our company to contribute to the prosperous development of the new Quang Tri province.”
