The airline's total revenue reached AED 30.7 billion, equivalent to approximately VND 218 trillion, a 21% increase compared to the previous year. Of this, passenger transport revenue reached AED 25.8 billion, a 24% increase, thanks to expanded operating capacity and sustained positive market demand.

Last year, Etihad undertook its largest expansion in history, adding 29 aircraft and bringing its total operating fleet to 127, including A321LRs, A350s, B787s, and the re-entered A380 fleet.
The airline's route network expanded from 94 to 110 destinations, with total takeoffs and landings exceeding 105,000, a 17% increase. Southeast Asia was one of the fastest-growing regions for the airline.
Etihad has launched seven new destinations including Hanoi , Medan, Krabi, Chiang Mai, Phnom Penh, Hong Kong, and Taipei, thereby strengthening direct connections between the region and Abu Dhabi. The introduction of the A321LR aircraft allows the airline to expand flexibly to emerging markets while maintaining high service standards.

Etihad plans to recruit more than 3,200 new employees in 2025, including approximately 1,600 flight attendants and nearly 400 pilots. The airline's total workforce comes from 152 nationalities.

Etihad won over 25 international awards in 2025, including the title of " World's Leading Airline for Customer Experience" and the APEX "5-Star Global Airline" certification. In January 2026, AirlineRatings ranked Etihad as the world's safest traditional airline.

In the Vietnamese market, a notable milestone for Etihad Airways in 2025 is the launch of a direct Abu Dhabi - Hanoi route from November 2nd, 2025, with a frequency of 6 flights per week, strengthening direct connections between the UAE and Vietnam, and promoting bilateral tourism and trade.
Furthermore, Etihad and Vietnam Airlines have also launched a codeshare partnership, allowing passengers to book and check in once for seamless connections between Vietnam and the Middle East, Europe, and Africa, while expanding two-way travel opportunities between Hanoi and Abu Dhabi. This codeshare partnership and new route make it easier for Vietnamese travelers to explore Abu Dhabi and Etihad's international network, while also attracting visitors from the UAE and Europe to Hanoi and other destinations in Vietnam.
