On the morning of June 25, many groups on Facebook resumed operations after being suspended for unknown reasons the night before. Administrators also regained control and were able to perform activities such as approving posts as usual.
A representative of Meta (Facebook's parent company) has responded to the technical issue that affected many Facebook groups that occurred on June 24. A Meta spokesperson said: "We are aware of a technical issue that has affected some Facebook groups. We are currently working to fix this issue."
In a notice sent to admins after restoring the group, Facebook said: "We've detected that our technology mistakenly added restrictions to your account." At the same time, the notice added that the reason for "having to be cautious" is to maintain a safe and respectful community.

However, the names of some groups are still in the "Group title pending" status and cannot be restored. According to regulations, the group name can only be changed after 28 days. The keyword "Group title pending" also became a trend on Facebook, when many groups had the same group name.

On his personal Facebook page, cyber security expert Ngo Minh Hieu (Hieu PC - Anti-Fraud project) said that many bad guys may be abusing Facebook's errors to report many groups and fanpages that have stopped operating, then offering services to rescue the groups. Therefore, administrators need to be vigilant against this trick to avoid the risk of "losing money and getting sick".
