NDO - The "Lao Cai Brocade Festival - Cultural Colors," with the theme "Sa Pa - Brocade of the Misty Land," will be held in Sa Pa (Lao Cai) from November 8-10. This is a tourism product bearing the brand of Lao Cai province, associated with the preservation and promotion of ethnic cultural values, including the development of brocade products to meet the needs of tourists.
The festival contributes to the implementation of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's project on "Preserving and promoting the traditional costumes of ethnic minorities in Vietnam in the current period" and the project "Preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development, 2024" of Lao Cai province.
At the same time, it creates opportunities for units, localities, performers (artisans), brocade cooperatives, and businesses to interact, learn, and exchange experiences in preserving, exploiting, and developing ethnic brocade, serving economic , social, and tourism development.
Along with the golden rice terraces, the scent of the forest and mountain breezes, and the white mist that blankets the landscape all year round, no one can help but feel nostalgic and captivated by the vibrant, colorful brocade costumes of the ethnic minority communities.

The 2024 "Lao Cai Brocade Festival - Colors of Culture" will feature attractive activities such as: Organizing a cultural space showcasing the brocade of Lao Cai province, including performances and introductions of the traditional brocade culture and fabrics of the H'Mong, Dao, Tay, Giay, and Xa Pho ethnic groups in Lao Cai province, linked with tourism promotion; organizing brocade demonstrations and introducing brocade products; an art program of the Lao Cai Brocade Festival - Colors of Culture with the theme "Sa Pa - Brocade of the Misty Land"; and organizing exhibitions and art installations introducing the culture and brocade applied in daily life…
