RT reports that the FSB said a suicide bombing plot orchestrated by Ukraine was thwarted in the port city of Sevastopol.
"Ukrainian intelligence officers lured a local resident to bring a portable loudspeaker to the FSB's regional headquarters, telling him it would be used for surveillance. However, the device actually concealed a homemade bomb designed to detonate at the location. Russian security forces intercepted the device and found the explosives before they could be detonated," the FSB reported.

Russian investigators claim to have identified a Ukrainian intelligence officer behind the plot. This individual is also accused of being behind a similar bombing targeting a security checkpoint at FSB headquarters in Simferopol last year.
The Russian Federal Security Service has named the suspected mastermind as Ivan Krinov, a member of the Ukrainian army's special forces. The announcement stated that Russia will seek to charge Ivan Krinov with terrorism and place him on an international wanted list.
The FSB urged Russian citizens to be vigilant against Ukrainian plots to recruit individuals who could carry out attacks and acts of sabotage (against Russia).
