Galaxy S26 launch date leaked.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - According to the South Korean newspaper Money Today, the Samsung Galaxy S26 series will be announced on February 25, 2026. This is about a month later than the Galaxy S25 generation.

Some previous reports revealed that Samsung would replace the Galaxy S26 Plus product line with the Galaxy S26 Edge (the successor to the Galaxy S25 Edge).

However, the company reportedly changed its mind at the last minute because the ultra-thin phone line didn't receive much market interest. This is also considered the reason why the Galaxy S26 generation was launched later than expected.

Numerous recent leaks indicate that the Galaxy S26 product line, including the top-of-the-line Galaxy S26 Ultra, will be equipped with the Exynos 2600 processor.

Recently, performance scores for the Exynos 2600 chip appeared on the Geekbench platform. According to the results, the processor achieved 3,455 single-core points and 11,621 multi-core points. These figures are significantly higher than those of Qualcomm and Apple chips.

For comparison, the Snapdragon 8 Elite has single-core and multi-core performance scores of 2,865 points and 9,487 points, respectively. Meanwhile, Apple's A19 Pro chip has single-core and multi-core performance scores of 3,753 points and 9,702 points, respectively.

In early September, Sonny Dickson's account shared a model of the Galaxy S26. The camera system on the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Ultra is arranged vertically and protrudes upwards, similar to the standard iPhone 17. The leaked images also show that all three devices will support the new Qi2 wireless charging standard, similar to Apple's MagSafe charging.

Previously, sources from GSMArena revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra would be equipped with Color Filter on Encapsulation (CoE) display technology.

Samsung has already applied CoE display technology to several of its foldable phone models, starting with the Galaxy Z Fold3. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to be the company's first bar-style phone to utilize this technology.
