According to leaked information, Samsung Foundry's 3nm production capacity is reportedly too low to manufacture the Exynos 2500 at the scale required by its mobile division, forcing the company to purchase the more expensive Snapdragon 8 Elite chip for the Galaxy S25 series.

However, leaker Ice Universe also stated that Samsung plans to use the Exynos 2500 chip for the Galaxy Z Flip7 series to reduce production costs.

It's also not surprising that Samsung hasn't given up on its intention to use its high-end Exynos chipset for the Galaxy S flagship series.

Previously, leaker Ice Universe revealed that Samsung was considering exclusively using Snapdragon chips for the Galaxy S26 series to deliver good performance and excellent power efficiency, with the high-end Exynos chip only reappearing on the Galaxy S27 series.
