People's mobilization from the grassroots
Established through the merger of four communes: Son Thuy, Hong Thuong, Phu Vinh, and Hong Thai, A Luoi 3 commune currently covers an area of over 154 km² with nearly 9,000 inhabitants living in 20 villages and residential areas. A Luoi 3 is a large area, mostly inhabited by ethnic minorities, and its living standards and access to technology are still limited.
Based on practical experience, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of A Luoi 3 commune have implemented the "Digital People's Mobilization" model, applying technological platforms to strengthen the connection between the government and the people. Through community Zalo groups and online interaction channels, people have timely access to information, and their difficulties and suggestions are quickly conveyed to the government.
Ms. Ho Thi Hinh from Can Tom village said: “By participating in the ‘Digital People's Mobilization’ model and community Zalo groups, I was able to quickly access new policies and guidelines, and also promptly report issues arising in daily life to the commune leaders.”
Beyond simply training staff, the model also leverages the role of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations in going door-to-door, directly supporting people in accessing digital transformation. This approach is particularly suitable because A Luoi 3 commune has a large geographical area, and many people, especially ethnic minorities and the elderly, still face difficulties in using technological devices. Through this, the model not only contributes to improving the effectiveness of mass mobilization work but also clearly demonstrates the spirit of being close to the people, serving them with their needs in mind.
Ms. Le Thi Mai Loan, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of A Luoi 3 commune, said: "After more than two months of implementation, over 100 Fatherland Front and mass organization officials in 20 villages and hamlets have basically grasped and are proficient in using the applications of the 'Digital People's Mobilization' model. We regularly monitor and urge grassroots Fatherland Front officials to go to people's homes to guide them in installing and using applications on VNeID, online public service platforms, etc., gradually helping people access technology, serving to resolve work and receive information more quickly."
Practical models
In addition to innovating mass mobilization work through the application of digital technology , member organizations of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of A Luoi 3 commune have also implemented many practical models, contributing to solving existing social problems in the locality. A prime example is the "Three Right Women" model (Speaking Right - Doing Right - Listening Right) linked with the "Families of members without delinquent children" model implemented by the Women's Union of the commune.
Through community activities and awareness campaigns in villages, women's association members have improved their knowledge and skills in caring for and educating their children, and building happy families. At the same time, they have become active communicators in mobilizing people to comply with the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws. This contributes to reducing school dropout rates, child marriage, and consanguineous marriage, minimizing social vices and bad habits among young people, and gradually building a civilized and progressive living environment in the locality.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Phuong, Vice President of the Women's Union of A Luoi 3 commune, said: "Through the implementation process, the awareness and responsibility of many parents in managing and educating their children have undergone positive changes. More importantly, the models have promoted the role of women in building happy families, fostering a healthy living environment, contributing to building a civilized and united residential area, and working together with the Party committee, government, and Fatherland Front to better care for the material and spiritual lives of the people in the area."
From the "Digital People Mobilization" model and programs to building happy families and supporting people's livelihoods, these innovative and practical approaches are contributing to changing the face of A Luoi 3 commune in the highlands, and are a vivid testament to the motto "Be close to the people, understand the people to take good care of them" to build an increasingly solid foundation of people's trust.
