Garnacho wants to continue developing his career in England. |
The Manchester United winger is reportedly set to leave Old Trafford following a falling out with manager Ruben Amorim. Garnacho is unhappy about not being included in the starting lineup for last month's Europa League final.
He was then dropped from Amorim's squad for the final Premier League game of the season, when Man Utd hosted Aston Villa at home. And during the Red Devils' post-season tour of Asia, Garnacho even had a conflict with a fan.
Garnacho is currently being linked with Bayer Leverkusen, a move that would reunite him with his former manager Erik ten Hag. However, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano insists that Garnacho still prefers a move to a Premier League club. According to Goal , the Argentinian player wants to move to Chelsea.
Besides Chelsea, Aston Villa are also reportedly monitoring Garnacho's situation. Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia are also very interested in the Argentinian player. If he moves there, Garnacho will have the opportunity to reunite with his idol Cristiano Ronaldo.
Initially, it was reported that Man Utd would demand £50 million for the player. However, that figure is now believed to have risen to around £70 million.
To date, Garnacho has made 144 appearances for Manchester United, scoring 26 goals and providing 22 assists.
