My family has held high-ranking official positions for three generations.

Appearing on the show "Sweet Memories ," singer Long Nhật attracted attention when he shared his thoughts about his career on television.

Long Nhật confided that although he wasn't from a family of musicians, he had a passionate love for music from a young age. However, the singer did not receive support from his family.

He recounted: " My family is a scholarly family, with three generations holding high-ranking official positions, so education was very important. My father was a literature and history teacher, so he often welcomed performing arts troupes to the school. He was haunted by the hardships of being an artist, so he always cautioned my siblings and me. In my parents' minds, this profession meant that money ran out before the sweat even dried. Artists are free-spirited and don't know how to manage finances, so my father feared that no one would take care of them in their old age."

The male singer recounted that he was accepted into the Hai Dang Troupe in Nha Trang after finishing 12th grade. Although he passed the university entrance exam, he was still sad because he wanted to sing. Despite his parents' repeated objections, Long Nhat remained determined to pursue art because "singing is what truly makes life."

During his artistic career, Long Nhật also experienced a health issue that affected his singing voice. The male singer revealed that he was very ill, with fluid in his lungs, and had to be hospitalized for a year in the US. When he was discharged from the hospital and tried to sing again, he couldn't sing normally.

"At that time, I had some very foolish thoughts, thinking that life was worse than death, that if I couldn't sing, what joy would there be left in life? However, love, luck, and good things were still there when I was able to sing again. After my illness, I returned to Vietnam and was still welcomed by the audience. That made me very happy," he confided.

Long Nhật is a well-known singer known for his sentimental songs, having started his singing career in 1989. Having been in the arts for many years, Long Nhật is of interest to audiences not only for his music but also for his personal life. He has been married for 24 years to his wife. They have four biological children and one adopted child.
