The price of plain gold rings was 96.0 million VND/ounce - 97.6 million VND/ounce (selling). The price of Thang Long Dragon gold was 96.0 million VND/ounce for buying and 98.6 million VND/ounce for selling.

At Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC), the buying and selling prices of SJC gold bars are listed at 94.9 - 97.4 million VND/ounce. Meanwhile, the price of gold rings is listed at 94.8 - 97.2 million VND/ounce.

At the same time, the buying price of DOJI gold bars in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City was 94.9 million VND/ounce and the selling price was 97.400 million VND/ounce. Meanwhile, the listed price for Hung Thinh Vuong 9999 gold rings was 95.6 million VND/ounce for buying and 98.2 million VND/ounce for selling.

At Bao Tin Manh Hai Gold, Silver and Gemstone Joint Stock Company, the listed price for SJC gold bars is 95.3 million VND/ounce for buying and 97.600 million VND/ounce for selling.

According to expert analysis, domestic gold prices fell in line with the decline in world gold prices. Around 6:00 AM on March 25th, the spot price of world gold was $3,012 per ounce, a sharp decrease of $20 compared to the highest price of $3,032 per ounce during last night's trading session.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet (Dong Da district) said that a few days ago, seeing the price of gold continuously rising, she decided to invest in buying gold. However, due to the store's limited sales quantity, she could only buy 5 taels at a price of over 99 million VND/tael. Thus, in just a few days, the price of gold has dropped by nearly 3 million VND/tael, resulting in a loss of over 1.5 million VND on the gold she bought.

Mr. Huynh Trung Khanh, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Gold Business Association, commented that the gold market witnessed many fluctuations last week. After surging past the 100 million VND/ounce mark, the price of gold reversed and fell sharply for three consecutive sessions.

According to Mr. Khanh, domestic gold prices are usually directly influenced by world gold prices. When geopolitical situations, especially the tariff policies of US President Donald Trump, fluctuate significantly, gold prices also change accordingly. The level of risk for gold buyers increases when gold prices fluctuate as sharply as they are now. Therefore, consumers need to be cautious and carefully consider their options before deciding to invest in gold at this time to avoid risks.
