Hanoi – By maintaining an "eat clean" diet combined with exercise videos on YouTube, 24-year-old Kieu Anh reduced her lower abdominal circumference by 8 cm, her waist circumference by 4 cm, and lost 3 kg of fat in two months.

Nguyen Kieu Anh, currently an office worker, used to weigh 63 kg due to a cesarean section, coupled with an unhealthy diet and lifestyle. She frequently consumed large amounts of carbohydrates in the morning, greasy fried foods, and snacks whenever she stayed up late.

Previously, the woman had tried every weight-loss method to regain her figure, such as fasting, cutting out carbohydrates, and even using unverified diet pills purchased online. As a result, after losing weight for a while, her figure returned to its previous state, and Kiều Anh even felt frequently tired, sluggish, and irritable. Upon a hospital check-up, the doctor diagnosed her with liver disease, high cholesterol, high uric acid levels, and a risk of developing metabolic disorders.

Worried about her health, she was determined to find more effective, scientific , sustainable, and healthy weight loss methods. Through a friend's recommendation, Kieu Anh learned about the eat clean diet, which helps with weight loss while keeping the body full of energy.

"Eat clean" is a diet aimed at improving health, losing weight, maintaining a healthy figure, and focusing on natural foods. The general principle of this diet is to encourage the consumption of more whole foods such as fruits, vegetables, lean meats, whole grains, and healthy fats. At the same time, dieters should limit fast food, processed foods, sweets, and other packaged foods.

Instead of consuming a lot of carbohydrates and fast food as before, Kieu Anh now actively supplements her diet with foods rich in protein, fiber, and healthy fats. Following the 4-4-12 intermittent fasting diet, she only eats three main meals a day: breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with no snacks. The time between meals follows this rule: breakfast is at least 4 hours before lunch, lunch is at least 4 hours before dinner, and dinner is at least 12 hours before breakfast the next day.

Most of Kieu Anh's dishes are steamed, boiled, braised, made into soup, or grilled (wrapped in foil in an air fryer). She eats vegetables first, then soup, then the main dish and rice, and finally low-sugar fruit. To ensure good digestion and a feeling of fullness, she eats slowly and chews thoroughly for at least 20 minutes per meal.

Besides following a healthy diet, Kieu Anh always makes sure to drink at least 2-2.5 liters of water every day, which helps her body stay hydrated and feel less hungry for longer.

In addition to ensuring she has a balanced diet, Kieu Anh spends 15-30 minutes at home each day learning exercises online, focusing on exercises for specific body areas such as the abdomen, thighs, and arms.

Knowing his wife's efforts, Kieu Anh's husband, Phuong, consistently encouraged her to diet and exercise to regain her figure. In addition, he adopted a similar diet and exercise regimen to help her stay determined in her journey to regain her health.

"Sometimes, when I see my husband more determined than me, I feel both sorry for him and lucky and happy," Kiều Anh said.

Now, the mother of one can confidently wear crop tops to show off her tiny waist, ditching the baggy t-shirts that hid her belly fat a year ago.

"Seeing my friends and other mothers my age with beautiful bodies always made me feel insecure. But after losing weight, I realized that a healthy lifestyle is even more important than physical appearance; it's about inner health and beauty," Kiều Anh shared.
