The story of Trieu Chin Nghia, an 8th-grade student from Nam Cao village, To Tung commune ( Gia Lai province), shared on the program, moved many people. Orphaned at a young age, Nghia currently lives with his grandmother in a severely dilapidated house. Every rainy season, the worry that the house might collapse is a constant concern for the two of them. Nghia said tearfully, “I love my grandmother so much. She is old but still has to worry about my meals and clothes. I only hope to study hard so that I can build her a sturdy house and take care of her in her old age.”

At the "Nurturing Knowledge - Continuing the Tradition" program, the youth of the Gia Lai Provincial Armed Forces have sponsored Trieu Chin Nghia until he turns 18, helping him to pursue his studies and fulfill his dreams. Besides Nghia, Puih Mit, a first-grade student residing in Mit Jep village, Ia O border commune (Gia Lai province), has also been sponsored by the youth of the Gia Lai Provincial Armed Forces until he turns 18. Having just entered first grade, Puih Mit is an orphan, having lost both parents and relying on his older siblings for support. Without the sponsorship of the youth members of the Provincial Armed Forces, his educational path would be many times more challenging and difficult.
The "Nurturing Knowledge - Keeping the Tradition Alive" program also connected BIDV Bank Quy Nhon Branch and the Military Command of An Vinh Commune to support and sponsor Le Chu Tue Man and Dinh Thi Kho. Both children come from extremely difficult circumstances, and the program's support is very meaningful and practical. Le Chu Tue Man, an 8th-grade student at My Hiep Secondary School (Phu My Nam Commune, Gia Lai Province), shared: "My mother left home when I was young, my father passed away from a serious illness more than two years ago, and I myself am battling a life-threatening disease. The treatment process requires going to hospitals from Quy Nhon to Ho Chi Minh City, which is very expensive and difficult. But my grandmother encourages me not to give up; I have to be a support for my younger brother. My grandmother is old and her health is deteriorating, and my younger brother is still very young. I love my grandmother and my brother very much, so I always try twice as hard in my studies and treatment," Le Chu Tue Man said emotionally.
According to Colonel Nguyen Xuan Son, Deputy Political Commissar of the Gia Lai Provincial Military Command, the "Nurturing Knowledge - Continuing the Tradition" program has profound humanitarian significance and value. The program not only supports students from disadvantaged backgrounds in the area and honors outstanding students who are children of officers and professional soldiers of the unit, but also educates about traditions, cultivates ideals, and fosters community responsibility among the young generation of the provincial armed forces. "The program has sown seeds of faith, enabling them to continue striving, overcoming adversity, and writing beautiful stories of resilience, aspiration, and dedication. And one day, not far from now, these very students will become beautiful flowers, contributing to making Gia Lai province increasingly prosperous, compassionate, and developed," Colonel Nguyen Xuan Son emphasized.
