- Despite changes in the working environment, the information and communication staff of the commune-level Public Service Center have stayed close to the grassroots, promptly reflecting activities and contributing to improving the effectiveness of communication work in the new phase.
After the two-tiered local government model comes into operation on July 1, 2025, the staff and officials working in information and propaganda at the former district level will be transferred to the regional culture, sports , and media teams under the Provincial Cultural Center. By January 1, 2026, when the regional teams are dissolved, 178 officials will be assigned to work at the public service centers under the People's Committees of communes throughout the province. Among them are many officials and officials trained in journalism and communication, with many years of experience in grassroots propaganda work. With their accumulated experience and expertise, they will continue to play a core role in information and propaganda work, contributing to maintaining the flow of information from the grassroots level.

Upon taking up her post in Cong Son commune, a border commune in Zone III with a large area and unevenly distributed population, Ms. Ma Thi Thuy, an information and propaganda officer, quickly adapted to her new work environment.
Ms. Thuy shared: "I have spent a lot of time and effort visiting each village, learning about the customs of the people. Only by truly understanding the customs, traditions, and lives of the people can we create closeness and trust, thereby grasping their thoughts and aspirations, as well as discovering good stories and effective models to disseminate in a genuine and vivid way."
On average, Thuy produces over 60 news articles, photos, and media products each month to post on the commune's website and fanpage.
Not only Ms. Thuy, but the team of propaganda officers in the communes throughout the province consistently stay close to the grassroots to record the pulse of life from each village, hamlet, and residential area.
To maintain a steady flow of information from the grassroots level, this team has been and continues to affirm the role of versatile communications professionals.
Ms. Duong Thi Lan, an information and communication officer at the Hung Vu Commune Public Service Center, said: "Currently, each reporter like me has to handle many tasks. From finding topics, going to the field to gather information, writing news articles, filming, taking photos, editing, and posting on digital platforms."
According to Ms. Lan, the equipment and resources for information and propaganda work at the grassroots level still face many difficulties. However, with a sense of responsibility and proactiveness, this team has strived to overcome difficulties, effectively utilizing existing resources, while also learning and improving their skills in applying digital technology to meet the increasingly high demands of propaganda work in the new era.
Thanks to this team, communication activities at the commune level have undergone positive changes. News articles, images, and videos are more professionally produced, and information is updated regularly and promptly on digital platforms, contributing to bringing local policies, guidelines, and activities closer to the people.
Ms. Le Hai Yen, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, stated: The team of information and propaganda officials at the grassroots level has quickly adapted to the new working environment, continuing to develop their professional capacity and sense of responsibility in performing their duties. The content of information is increasingly rich, reflecting the realities at the grassroots level in a timely manner, contributing to bringing the Party and State's policies and guidelines to the people, spreading good models, effective methods, and positive values in the community. This force plays a crucial role in maintaining the flow of information from the grassroots and improving the effectiveness of communication work at the grassroots level.
With dedication to their profession and a sense of responsibility, the team of information and propaganda officials in the communes has been, is, and will continue to stay close to the grassroots, promptly reflecting the pulse of life and maintaining the flow of information from the grassroots in the new era.
