Helping people repair their roofs.

In recent days, due to the impact of typhoon No. 1, heavy rain and tornadoes occurred in A Luoi district, causing flooding in many areas. Hundreds of hectares of newly planted rice and other crops belonging to local people were submerged, and nearly 50 houses had their roofs blown off.

In response to the situation, the 92nd Economic-Defense Brigade mobilized nearly 100 cadres, staff, and young intellectuals to volunteer in coordination with local Party committees, authorities, and militia forces in the communes, along with various vehicles and materials, to help people repair their houses and quickly stabilize their lives.

Reinforcing the roofs for the villagers.

Mr. Truong Toan Thang, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Son commune, A Luoi district, said: Heavy rains, accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds over the past few days, have flooded hundreds of hectares of newly planted rice and other crops, and ripped off dozens of roofs of houses belonging to local people. Dong Son is the most severely affected area. The timely presence of officials, staff, and young volunteer intellectuals from the 92nd Economic-Defense Brigade has helped local people repair and rebuild houses for single-parent families and those in difficult circumstances.

In the coming days, the 92nd Economic-Defense Brigade will continue to assist local people in repairing damaged houses and restoring their homes to normalcy. Simultaneously, they will educate and encourage people to stay informed about weather conditions and avoid complacency. The 92nd Economic-Defense Brigade will always have personnel and equipment ready for rescue operations, adhering to the "four on-the-spot" principle, ensuring the safety of residents in the area where they are stationed.
