Apple has unveiled iOS 26, featuring Liquid Glass design and many new features such as live message translation, call filtering, and a call waiting assistant. However, these new features are not new to Pixel users, as they have been available on Google phones for 5 to 7 years.
This time, Google is being blunt, listing iPhone features that Apple copied from its Android operating system. Even more sarcastically, Google included these points in its Pixel smartphone advertisements.

These two talented individuals are often featured in Google commercials, often appearing together on dates.
This promotional video is part of the #BestPhonesForever campaign, featuring an iPhone and a Pixel 9 Pro 'chatting' on a fictional podcast.
When the iPhone announced its live translation feature for text messages, the Pixel 9 Pro responded that the feature had been on its device for four years.
Not only did the iPhone mention Live Translate, but it also brought up Hold Assist and Call Screening, prompting Pixel to state that these features have long been available on its devices.
Live Translate was launched on the Pixel 6 in 2021, allowing for automatic translation of text messages and phone calls. The Hold for Me feature, similar to Hold Assist on iOS 26, was introduced by Google in 2020 on the Pixel 3, allowing users to avoid paying attention to their phone while waiting for a call. Call Screening was also available on the Pixel 3 since 2018.

Google lists three long-standing Pixel features that iOS 26 copied to the iPhone.
The end of the video is perhaps the most interesting part, when the iPhone asks: "So what are you preparing for the Pixel 10?... Just curious." The open-ended question concludes the video, along with an image of the Pixel 9 Pro. This is considered the first time Google has officially mentioned the Pixel 10, although they haven't revealed a release date.
Although no release date has been announced, many reports suggest that Google is planning an event in mid-August and has already started filming commercials for the Pixel 10.
According to leaks, the Pixel 10 series will not change much in design compared to its predecessor, but will receive significant internal upgrades. Specifically, it will use the new Tensor chip manufactured by TSMC, promising a substantial improvement in battery efficiency – a long-standing weakness of the Pixel series. Additionally, the standard Pixel 10 may also feature a telephoto camera, while higher-end versions will support both telephoto and macro zoom.
