Grealish grows vegetables

Jack Grealish surprised fans by revealing a very ordinary hobby: growing vegetables and gardening on the grounds of his £5.6 million mansion.

The 30-year-old midfielder, currently on loan at Everton from Man City, said he and his girlfriend Sasha Attwood regularly tend to the vegetable patch on their nearly 39,000 square meter property in Chelford, Cheshire.

The information was revealed through an application for a "Certificate of Legal Use of Existing Status" submitted to the local authorities. This is a legal procedure to confirm that the garden does not require further planning permits.

In his presentation, Grealish shared how family life at the villa revolves around many outdoor activities. "Since buying the house, my family regularly plays golf, learns and plays tennis, goes boating, and fishes on the lake. We also use the lawn to entertain friends and relax. The garden is also a place for the dogs to exercise and for growing vegetables," Grealish wrote.

Grealish's application for certification received support from the head gardener who had been with the property for 27 years, as well as the previous owner of the villa. This further strengthened the legitimacy of using the garden for living and farming activities.

Grealish currently has a 14-month-old daughter, Mila Rose, with Sasha Attwood. His peaceful family life seems to have helped Grealish find a balance between the pressures of football and his personal life.
