A 4-kilometer-long, 4-meter-wide lane along the To Lich River, passing through Cau Giay and Dong Da districts, is being renovated to be exclusively for bicycles.
On January 26th, more than a dozen workers began cleaning up the road along the To Lich River, from Nga Tu So intersection in Dong Da district to the University of Transport and Communications in Cau Giay district. Another group repainted the road markings and leveled the ground to create a bicycle parking area.

The To Lich riverside road, which received nearly 65 billion VND in investment, was put into use in March 2019. Initially, the road was used by residents for walking and exercising. After nearly four years, the road has deteriorated and become a place for defecation and dumping waste. The road is also frequently cut off and barricaded during the construction of the Yen Xa wastewater project.
