At Hang Day Stadium, CAHN pushed their formation high and created constant pressure. Alan tried his luck with a powerful long-range shot in the 12th minute but couldn't beat Trung Kien. Quang Hai, Leo Artur, and Van Hau also had opportunities, but their shots lacked accuracy.
On the opposite side, HAGL played tight defense and showed sharpness in counter-attacks. In the 6th minute, Junior put the ball into Filip Nguyen's net, but the goal was disallowed due to offside.
The turning point came in the 40th minute. From a textbook counter-attack, Marciel Silva showed his skill before unleashing a powerful shot, opening the scoring for the team from Pleiku. CAHN left the first half trailing 0-1 despite controlling possession for most of the time.
In the second half, the home team intensified their relentless pressure. After a series of attacks, CAHN's efforts were rewarded. In the 75th minute, Pham Minh Phuc capitalized on a rebound in the penalty area to score a decisive equalizer, making the score 1-1.
In the 81st minute, the HAGL defense made a series of mistakes. Trung Kien blocked China's first shot but couldn't prevent the foreign player from scoring the rebound to make it 2-1. Immediately afterwards, Dinh Bac nearly made it 3-1 but his shot hit the post.
In the final minutes, HAGL tried to find an equalizer but couldn't break through CAHN's tight defense. Even in the fifth minute of added time, China completed their brace to seal a 3-1 victory for the home team.
The result helped CAHN solidify their top position with 35 points, 8 points ahead of their closest rival, Ninh Binh .
