The 2.5km walking tour through 6 famous places in Hai Phong city was launched from May 13.
The new tourism product is called "Hai Phong - A Glimpse of the Past". The tour will start on the afternoon of May 13, the 68th anniversary of Hai Phong's liberation and the music night of the 2023 Red Flamboyant Festival.
Joining the tour, visitors will walk with a local guide to visit and learn about the history, culture, architectural works, and people of Hai Phong. The tour is held every Saturday afternoon, passing Tam Bac Lake - Statue of General Le Chan - City Theater - City Museum - City Post Office - Hoang Van Thu Bridge - Spicy Bread/No 1986 Cafe Dinh Tien Hoang.

To participate, visitors must register on the Hai Phong Department of Tourism's fanpage. On the first day of implementation, the organizers will have a launching program at Hai Phong station at 8am. Here, 3,000 vouchers for experiences of technology bicycles, food tours and some tourist activities in Hai Phong will be distributed to visitors.
Mr. Nguyen Nam Phuong, representative of the travel company that conducts the tour, said that based on the registration information, they will contact tourists to organize a tour group of 15 to 20 people per group.
Hai Phong has become a popular destination in recent years thanks to the food tour trend. According to the Department of Tourism, during the April 30 holiday, Hai Phong welcomed 12,000 visitors to participate in this activity. "The new product will bring visitors new and interesting experiences about Hai Phong," said Mr. Vu Huy Thuong, Deputy Director of the Department.
