Hamas wants to reach an agreement to end the conflict in the Gaza Strip.

On November 27, Sami Abu Zuhri, a representative of the Hamas Islamic Movement, said the group "appreciates" Lebanon's right to reach an agreement to protect its citizens and hopes for an agreement to end the conflict in the Gaza Strip.

"Hamas appreciates Lebanon's and Hezbollah's right to reach an agreement to protect the Lebanese people. We hope this agreement will pave the way for reaching an agreement to end the conflict against us in Gaza," Zuhri told Reuters .

Mr. Zuhri emphasized: "We are committed to cooperating with all efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza. We are interested in ending the attacks targeting our people."

"Hamas has shown great flexibility in reaching an agreement and remains committed to that position and its desire to reach an agreement to end the war in Gaza," Zuhri said, while blaming Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu for the failure to reach a ceasefire agreement.

According to Reuters, Hamas wants an agreement to end the war in Gaza with the withdrawal of Israeli troops from the area, and the exchange of Israeli and foreign hostages for Palestinians held by Israel, while Netanyahu has stated that the war can only end after overthrowing Hamas.
