Thousands of people in the capital receive free medical examinations

In 2024, the Journey carried out a total of 29 activities, including 3 city-level activities. Thereby, free medical examinations were conducted and more than 14,000 social security gift bags were given to people with a total value of more than 7.5 billion VND.

Continuing that series of successes, Journey No. 30 aims to visit and give about 1,200 people and children in Cau Giay, Bac Tu Liem, Nam Tu Liem, Thanh Xuan districts and Hoai Duc district ( Hanoi city).

Representatives of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union , the Hanoi Youth Union and related units encouraged young volunteers at the blood donation area.

At the Journey, more than 120 doctors and nurses who are members of the Hanoi Young Physicians Association examined and screened people in a number of areas such as: general internal medicine, gastroenterology, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, dermatology, ear-nose-throat, eyes, pediatrics, nutrition...

Within the framework of the Journey, a voluntary blood donation program took place, expected to collect about 250-300 units of blood, contributing to the chain of blood donation activities to save lives of the capital's youth.

Reportedly, the campaign, titled "Voluntary Blood Donation Journey - For the Life of Patients, for the Progress of Youth," has implemented 180 programs across Hanoi in the first 10 months of 2024, collecting over 84,000 units of blood, with over 70% of the donations coming from young people.
