The essentials for turning 18.

For Thanh Tuyen (a student at Tran Hung Dao High School, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City), the care and support of her family, teachers, and friends have always been an important source of motivation.

For two consecutive years, Huynh Thi Thanh Tuyen has been recognized as a "Three Good Student" of Ho Chi Minh City. This graduating high school student also received the title of "Outstanding Youth Union Cadre" of Go Vap District in 2024, along with numerous other awards. Tuyen also impresses with her enthusiastic participation in various extracurricular activities.

Tuyen showed early passion and always strived to improve her scientific research skills. This female student and her classmate were recently awarded second prize in the City-level Science and Technology Competition for the 2024-2025 school year, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training. The previous school year, she also won third prize in the same competition.

Tuyen's research topic this time has great practical significance, focusing on "Nomophobia - The fear of not having a phone and procrastinating in studying: The mediating role of social anxiety." Tuyen is currently a member of the gifted literature team and aspires to pursue a career in law. Like other graduating students, Tuyen has a packed schedule. However, thanks to her sensible time management and cultivating positive energy each day, she doesn't feel overly stressed. This Gen Z girl feels fortunate to be in a vibrant learning environment with many good friends, making every day at school a joyful one. Tuyen is very grateful to her teachers, who are both highly skilled and dedicated to their students.

With the idea gaining support and being realized, Tuyen confidently represented Tran Hung Dao High School in major competitions, contributing to the school's tradition of academic excellence.

"Ms. Thu - my homeroom teacher - often encouraged me and taught me about responsibility and humility. Mr. An - the vice principal - and Mr. Hai - the youth assistant - always placed their trust in me and gave me many valuable opportunities for experience. Ms. Lam - the vice principal - always watched over us and created favorable conditions for our research and studies," Tuyen recounted.

According to Tuyen, all the achievements are thanks to individual efforts along with the dedicated guidance and direction from the school and family for young people who are discovering the beauty of knowledge every day.

Every teacher is a shining example that Tuyen respects and loves. In addition, the love of her parents further strengthens this young girl. This is invaluable preparation for Tuyen at the age of 18, enabling her to confidently pursue her future ambitions, become a useful citizen, and wholeheartedly serve society.
