The people here always demonstrate a spirit of mutual support and compassion. A clear example is the voluntary fundraising activity among residents to help each other overcome difficulties, which has been sustained for the past 10 years. Currently, the village has four voluntary funds: one for the Farmers' Association, one for the Women's Association, one for the Elderly , and one for the village itself, providing revolving capital that helps nearly 100 people borrow money each year.
This is considered a timely lifeline, providing support to help people cover living expenses, invest in production, or overcome difficult times. It's not simply about money, but also about trust and the warmth of the community being given.

As a purely agricultural village, the main livelihood depends on slash-and-burn farming, such as growing cassava, corn, and rice. The harsh climate and infertile soil make life difficult for the villagers. However, what is admirable is that these difficulties do not deter their will; on the contrary, they strengthen the spirit of sharing and mutual support within the community.
Whenever the village launches a campaign, from building a new cultural life and maintaining environmental hygiene to calling for and mobilizing help for those in sudden difficult circumstances, with Mrs. Phon's voice, the villagers all agree, readily respond, and actively participate.
