Unlike their daily routine, after work, Hien and her children rush into the kitchen to prepare meals, but today they are free because her husband enthusiastically supports them. Witnessing the moment the whole family gathered around the dinner table, the children chatting with their father, Hien was moved and emotional.
As a child, Hien was a dreamer, so she idolized the image of soldiers in uniform with a five-pointed yellow star on their hats. In college, she still loved that image, so she set an "unspoken" rule that any guy who tried to flirt with her had to be a soldier first before she could talk to him. Then, while surfing Facebook, she saw a rather humorous friend request. Curious, she texted back and when she learned that he was a soldier, she quickly agreed to be friends. Their daily conversations seemed to last longer because they both found many similarities. However, she was still a bit hesitant, because Tung was already "old" and "nothing". To dispel her hesitation, she suggested that she visit him at his unit on the first official date they met.

As soon as he arrived at Tung's unit, many of his comrades came out to shake hands and ask questions, chatting, making Hien confused and no less emotional. Everyone was happy for Tung, because he had held the title of "air defense soldier" for too long, making his friends and comrades impatient. When Huyen left, it was raining heavily, Tung asked his boss for permission to take his girlfriend home and in that very rain, Tung boldly proposed to her.
After 6 months of dating, they got married. The wedding room at that time was a rented room near her office for convenience. In 2018, she gave birth to her first son, Truong Quoc Khanh. Recalling that time, she said: "During the entire pregnancy, he was not by her side. On the day of labor, I took a bus to the hospital alone. When the doctor ordered a cesarean section, he was there in time to complete the procedures. At that time, I felt really warm." In 2023, she gave birth to her second daughter, Truong Khanh Chi. The family's happiness was more complete, but at the same time, the difficulties multiplied many times.
With the motto of "selling distant brothers, buying close neighbors", although busy with public and private matters, Ms. Hien still arranges time to actively participate in common activities with neighbors. Now that her children are a little older, Ms. Hien and the neighbors in the neighborhood join the local folk dance club. Every time there is a performance, people trust her to choose songs and teach basic dance moves. With her enthusiasm, openness, and simple, sincere lifestyle, Ms. Hien is always loved by the neighbors. Whenever she comes home late from work, the grandmothers are ready to pick up her children for her. Although life ahead is still full of difficulties, for Ms. Hien, happiness is seeing her children grow up every day, living in the warm love of the neighbors and becoming a solid support for her husband to work with peace of mind.
