This could be a new product development strategy for Apple, as historically, iPhone Pro versions have typically come in darker colors, rather than the brighter colors of the standard versions.

Earlier this year, the iPhone manufacturer signed a contract with TSMC for the entire 2nm manufacturing process during its initial phase of operation. This process is expected to be adopted soon for the production of Apple Silicon chips for future Mac computers.

According to Digitimes , the iPhone 17 Pro will be the first iPhone to use a processor manufactured using a 2nm process. Some sources even suggest that the iPhone 17 Pro will be the first smartphone to feature this chip.

According to MacRumors , the iPhone 17 generation will feature a screen with a Ceramic Shield glass coating, offering better anti-reflective and scratch-resistant properties compared to its predecessors.

The source also revealed that the new Ceramic Shield glass has been delivered to the supply chain in China. However, it will not be available for the iPhone 16 generation in time.

The iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are expected to be the first iPhones from Apple to feature Face ID facial recognition under the screen. Meanwhile, the selfie camera will still be designed in a punch-hole style.
