iFans are undoubtedly eagerly awaiting the launch and official release of the iPhone 16 series so they can immediately purchase one, upgrade to the latest model, and experience the most valuable upgrades ever.
| The iPhone 16 generation is expected to launch on September 10th. |
According to CNMO Technology News, citing sources close to Apple, the iPhone manufacturer will launch its latest generation of smartphones on September 10th.
This information seems plausible because Apple typically launches a new generation of iPhones in September each year, and it's highly likely that this year's iPhone 16 series will be no exception.
Specifically, Apple typically launches its new iPhone lineup on the second Tuesday of September, then officially releases the products to the market 10 days later, on the Friday of the following week. For example, last year, Apple launched the iPhone 15 series on Tuesday (September 12th) and officially began selling the products on September 22nd.
The source also revealed that, in addition to the iPhone 16 series, Apple will also launch the Watch Series 10 smartwatch, the third-generation Apple Watch Ultra, and a more affordable version, the Watch SE 3.
The South China Morning Post (SCMP) also quoted sources saying that Foxconn has just hired an additional 50,000 workers at its factory in Zhengzhou to assemble the next generation of iPhone 16, ready for market release.
Previous leaks also indicated that Apple will launch the iPhone 16 generation with four variants: iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, and 16 Pro Max. It's likely that this will be the last version with a Plus option, as many sources suggest Apple will release the iPhone 17 Slim to replace the Plus option next year.
According to recent leaked images, the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max will have no design changes compared to their predecessors, but will feature changes in screen size.
Specifically, the iPhone 16 Pro will increase its screen size to 6.3 inches, instead of 6.1 inches as on the iPhone 15 Pro, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max will also increase its screen size from 6.7 inches in the previous version to 6.9 inches.
Meanwhile, the screen sizes on the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus remain unchanged from their predecessors, at 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches respectively. However, the design of these standard iPhone 16 models features a redesigned rear camera array, with two vertically aligned dual cameras, no longer staggered as before. The island housing the two cameras has also been reduced in size to a rectangular shape, instead of the previous square one. The flash is also separated from the camera island.
However, all current information remains just rumors and there is no confirmed information yet. Perhaps we will have to wait until the end of August or the beginning of September, when Apple sends out invitations announcing its special event, to know the exact date when the iPhone 16 generation will be officially launched.
