Stepping into the sea and immersing myself in the cool water is so refreshing on hot summer days. Swimming here gives a feeling of safety because there are lifeguards and buoys marking the areas where swimming is permitted.”

Located just over 20 km from the city center, Nhon Hai Beach is captivating from the first visit. Visitors can stroll along the rocky cliffs and take photos amidst the tranquil, crescent-shaped beaches, enjoying fresh, delicious seafood at affordable prices. Nhon Hai Beach, especially the area around the lower cliff, is surrounded by beautifully shaped rocks. The sea is calm and waveless due to the coral reefs, and the shallow water is perfect for children to play and swim. Life jackets are available for rent at 5,000-10,000 VND/each, and SUPs (stand-up paddleboards) at 50,000-100,000 VND/each, allowing visitors to relax, admire the vibrant coral reefs, and paddleboard to explore the ancient citadel nestled in the sea.
Mr. Pham Van Tai, who provides life jacket and SUP rental services in Hai Nam village, Nhon Hai commune, said: “The sea in the Ganh Duoi area is very safe for swimming, so it attracts a large number of tourists. We, as service providers, also pay close attention to ensuring the safety of tourists swimming in the sea. When they are in the water, we monitor them and remind them if they swim too far out; when the sea is rough and windy, we do not rent out swimwear and advise tourists not to go into the water.”

In Binh Dinh, there are many other beaches with romantic and majestic scenery, surrounded by lush green mountains and clear blue waters, attracting many tourists, such as: Bai Xep (Ghenh Rang ward, Quy Nhon city), Trung Luong (Cat Tien town, Phu Cat district), Dieu Quang (Hoai Hai commune, Hoai Nhon town)... However, tourists should note that when swimming, they should avoid deserted beaches with few swimmers; for beaches without warning signs indicating dangerous areas or no swimming, they should ask local people about the characteristics of the beach... in order to ensure safety and experience a fun summer in this "beach paradise" of Binh Dinh.
