Holding hands with his girlfriend Vu Quynh Anh, a student at the Academy of Public Administration and Management, Nguyen Hoang Long, a student at the 1st Army Officer School, and his lover let their souls drift to the love song. This is one of the beautiful memories when the two had the opportunity to go out together during the recent Tet holiday. According to Quynh Anh, during the Tet holiday in 2023, she returned home to help her parents decorate the house and go shopping. That day, after going around the streets and choosing a satisfactory five-petal peach blossom branch, she brought it home to show off her flower arranging skills, placed it in a prominent position, then took a photo and posted it on Facebook to show off to her friends. A few minutes later, the post received many compliments, including a friend request with a rather special comment from a strange guy.

Curious about the owner of that comment, Quynh Anh went to his personal page and saw the profile picture of a handsome, scholarly-looking guy in military uniform. Notably, she realized that this person had a mutual friend who was a high school classmate of hers, so she felt confident and accepted to be friends.

In the following days, Hoang Long took the initiative to talk, get to know each other, introduce himself and both discovered that they were from the same hometown in Lao Cai , only about 30km apart - he was in Lao Cai city, and she was in the poetic and peaceful town of Sa Pa.

Taking advantage of the last days off before returning to school, they decided to meet in person. In a tea shop in the center of town, the future officer arrived early, delicately chose a cozy corner of the room, romantically decorated and placed a bouquet of red velvet roses on the table. While still imagining the girl he was about to meet, he was suddenly surprised by the gentle voice greeting the staff at the door. Looking out, Hoang Long paused before the pure beauty of the girl in a white dress, a bright smile on her lips. The two looked at each other shyly for a few seconds, then Quynh Anh gently sat down in the seat Hoang Long had chosen in advance.

After that first meeting, the two understood each other more and realized many similarities. The handwritten letters, stories of daily life and encouragement in studying gradually became a bridge of love between the young couple. During the summer vacation, Hoang Long came to Quynh Anh's parents' house to ask for permission to take her out. When conquering Fansipan peak together - where the clouds and sky blend together, Hoang Long gave her a pair of engagement rings and gently proposed:
- Be my girlfriend!

Before his sincere confession, Quynh Anh held his hand in agreement and promised to write beautiful memories together, filled with love and sharing.
