For the Vietnam People's Army (VPA), hostile and reactionary forces have long sought to undermine it, tarnish its reputation, and erode public trust in the Army, the image of revolutionary soldiers, and the Ho Chi Minh Army. Their ultimate goal is to distance the VPA from its revolutionary nature, leading to the " depoliticization " of the Army and weakening the Party's leadership role over the Army. With the development of the digital environment, the tactics most frequently used by these subversive forces are: exaggerating and exploiting isolated incidents within the Army to distort and falsely attribute its true nature; and manipulating and distorting information to create confusion and gradually erode public trust in the Army.
This reality not only demands that every officer and soldier in the entire army be vigilant in identifying harmful and malicious information; resolutely fight against and refute erroneous and hostile viewpoints, but also that they exemplary comply with all the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and regulations, military discipline, and unit regulations, resolutely avoiding giving opportunities for malicious individuals to exploit the situation, whether in the digital environment or in their work and life. In any environment, every officer and soldier must comply with legal regulations and military discipline, respect the legitimate rights and interests of all organizations and individuals. At the same time, they must behave in a civilized and courteous manner; respect, protect, preserve, and spread the cultural identity and fine traditional cultural values of the nation and the Army.
