The latest leaked images have confirmed a series of information about the design of the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max duo, revealing notable changes in appearance and materials.

The most notable highlight on the iPhone 17 Pro is the change in the camera cluster design. Instead of being neatly arranged in the upper left corner like previous generations, the camera cluster will be extended horizontally across the device, creating a new and different look.
In addition, the position of the "bitten apple" logo on the back has also been adjusted by Apple. This logo will be moved to the bottom middle of the back, right below the camera cluster. This is the first time Apple has changed the logo position on the iPhone since the iPhone 11 product line launched in 2020, which has always been placed in the middle of the back.
According to the Instant Digital account on Weibo, a source that regularly leaks information about Apple products, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max duo will use an aluminum frame instead of a titanium frame like the previous version.
The source also confirmed that the aluminum frame will be very thin, contributing to the super-thin bezels of the iPhone 17 Pro Max. At the same time, the lighter weight of aluminum compared to titanium also helps reduce the overall weight of the device.

The lower half of the back will still be finished in glass, to ensure wireless charging on the Pro versions.
This is different from the 2024 iPhone generation, where Apple only used aluminum materials for the standard iPhone 16 models, while the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max had titanium frames.
At the moment, Apple's reason for switching to aluminum for the Pro versions remains unclear.
