The latest leaked images have confirmed a number of design details for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, revealing notable changes in appearance and materials.

The most notable highlight on the iPhone 17 Pro is the redesigned camera module. Instead of being neatly arranged in the upper left corner like previous generations, the camera module is now elongated horizontally across the device, creating a fresh and distinctive look.
Additionally, Apple has adjusted the position of the "bitten apple" logo on the back. The logo will be moved to the bottom middle of the back, just below the camera module. This marks the first time Apple has changed the logo's position on an iPhone since the iPhone 11 series launched in 2020, which had always been centered on the back.
According to Instant Digital's Weibo account, a source that frequently leaks information about Apple products, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max will use an aluminum frame instead of the titanium frame of their predecessors.
This source also confirms that the aluminum frame will be very thin, contributing to the ultra-thin bezels of the iPhone 17 Pro Max. At the same time, the lighter weight of aluminum compared to titanium will also help reduce the overall weight of the device.

The lower half of the back panel will still be made of glass, to ensure wireless charging functionality on the Pro versions.
This is different from the 2024 iPhone generation, where Apple only used aluminum for the standard iPhone 16 models, while the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max featured titanium frames.
Currently, the reason Apple switched to using aluminum for the Pro versions remains unclear.
