Coach Vu Tien Thanh will lead Ninh Binh Club for the rest of the season.

(NLĐO) - Immediately after Ninh Binh dismissed their previous coach, Vu Tien Thanh, Director of the HAGL Academy, was appointed as interim coach until the end of the 2025-2026 V-League season.

Ninh Binh FC recently appointed Mr. Vu Tien Thanh as interim head coach for the remainder of the 2025-2026 V-League season, following a personnel support agreement between Chairman Nguyen Duc Thuy and HAGL, owned by Mr. Duc.

Mr. Thanh, currently the Director of the HAGL Academy, is expected to help the team stabilize its organization and improve its professional skills during this crucial period.

"Mr. Vu Tien Thanh, Director of LPBank HAGL Academy, will assume the role of interim head coach of Ninh Binh FC for the time being, until the team completes the appointment of a new head coach."

"The decision is expected to help the team quickly stabilize its organization, maintain discipline, and improve professional efficiency during the crucial stage of the season," - Ninh Binh Club announced.

Previously, Ninh Binh parted ways with coach Gerard Albadalejo and his coaching staff after three consecutive defeats against Hanoi Police, HAGL, and Nam Dinh, causing the team to drop from the top spot to third.

The new head coach of Ninh Binh FC is expected to be introduced on March 4th and will have four days to prepare before the match against Da Nang at home at 6 PM on March 7th in the V-League.

In the 2025-2026 V-League season, there have been many changes in the coaching staff. Defending champions Nam Dinh have changed coaches twice, with Portuguese coach Mauro Jeronimo replacing Vu Hong Viet. However, before round 14, Viet returned to the hot seat.
